Home and Away star Bec Hewitt’s daughter Mia appears to be following in the actress’ footsteps.
The creative teenager, who in recent weeks made headlines by playing gigs with her indie rock band, has now been spotted on the set of the Channel Seven soap.
On Monday, Mia, 19, was seen on the set of Australia’s second longest-running TV series in Palm Beach – 26 years after it made her mother a household name.
Working in the wardrobe department, Mia’s main duty appears to be carrying around a large Bunnings umbrella to shade the cast members from the harsh sunshine during their scenes.
Her mother Bec, 41, rose to fame after playing Home and Away fan favourite Hayley Smith Lawson from 1998 to 2005.
In 2005, the tennis WAG married Lleyton Hewitt while several months pregnant with their eldest child, Mia.

In a full circle moment, Mia has now returned to the set of Home and Away.
The teenager dressed casually in denim shorts and a white singlet as she chatted to film crew.
She completed her look with black boots and wore sunglasses as she ran across the park while the stars filmed their outdoor scenes.
In May 2005, Bec announced she would be leaving Home and Away ‘for personal reasons’, one week after announcing her pregnancy.
She said the decision had been hard, but she found that she could not continue in the role.
‘I will always remember my days on Home and Away as the best of my life,’ she said.
‘But at such an important time of my life, I need more time and flexibility away from the day to day demands of the production schedule.’
She filmed her final scenes in June that year, and remained on air until September 2005. Over 100 actresses auditioned to replace her in the role of Hayley.

Mia was seen shading the likes of Jessica Redmayne and several other actors while the cameras rolled from Sydney’s heatwave.
In her downtime, she stood beside other crew carrying boom microphones and attentively watched the filming.
She appeared happy and at ease with the other crew members, often smiling and talking while keeping her umbrella close at hand.
On her break, the so-called ‘nepo baby’ turned her attention to her iPhone.
She juggled her phone and car keys in one hand and a disposable IGet bar vape in the other.
Mia’s parents Lleyton and Bec were reigning King and Queen of Australia’s gossip magazines for years.
The couple hired some 50 security guards to keep paparazzi and the public at bay while helicopters hovered overhead of the wedding.
On the back of her television fame, Bec released an eponymous solo album in 2002 and her debut single All Seats Taken hit number 10 on the ARIA chart.

Her album however was met with mixed reviews and her music career effectively came to an end in 2004 when she parted ways with label Warner Music.
A source recently told New Idea Bec is keen to ensure that her daughter avoids the pitfalls that can befall new and inexperienced artists.
‘Bec knows how to deal with bad people, dodgy managers, and doesn’t want Mia making some of the mistakes she made early in her career like being too optimistic about certain jobs,’ the source said.
They added that while music is Mia’s current consuming passion, she hasn’t ruled out a career in front of the camera, like her actress mum.
