Meghan Markle will return to acting following the split of her deal with streaming giant Netflix, a former Suits co-star has claimed.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, had split with Netflix, as she looked to take full control of the company.

Actor Eric Roberts has said he believes a comeback is on the cards for the duchess and that she will “blow everybody’s mind.”

“She will come back,” Mr Roberts said alongside his wife, Eliza, who added: ”It is time. And Meghan needs to come back to work. I feel like her whole family will support it, and she is amazing.”

The 69-year-old Hollywood star played billionaire Charles Foreman alongside Meghan in Suits.

Eliza continued to the Mail: “It is tricky because of the monarchy. Her role in Suits was very sexy.

“Her making love with another man, that was just – they’ve never seen anything like that.

“She worked so hard to get there. That was just too much, Women don’t give up their jobs for a marriage anymore.

“I understand the intention, and she thought she’d be satisfied with doing good works in the world. But she needs to be acting.

“She is a young woman who needs to be acting.

Eliza concluded: “Meghan is a star, from the second you see her, she just has star quality. It doesn’t matter. It was always going to happen.”

Her former co-star was very set in his position, as he stated: “I think she should come back. I think she will come back, and I think she’s going to be fantastic and blow everybody’s mind.”

The glowing reviews of the duchess come just hours after it was revealed that Meghan has secured trademark protection for her As Ever brand in Australia, where she is set to travel next month.

Documentation filed with the Australian Intellectual Property Office indicates the Duchess of Sussex’s application was approved in June 2025, registered under the category “fancy”.

When questioned about the Australian expansion on March 9, a spokesman for Meghan told GB News: “This is speculation. No decisions have been made about when or where international expansion might take place.”

The representative added: “Entering new markets is a considered process, but it’s something the brand is excited to explore as it continues to grow in this next phase. Watch this space.”

The trademark filing encompasses an extensive array of product categories, positioning the brand for significant diversification beyond its current offerings.

According to reports in the Telegraph, the registration covers yoga straps, pet feeding mats, gardening equipment, bath and shower gels, jewellery and furniture.
