Meghan Markle wore head-to-toe Armani during her New York appearance – with her outfit coming to a whopping total of £6,295.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were honoured at Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Gala on Thursday evening, where the couple were crowned “Humanitarians of the Year”.

Meghan, 44, turned heads in an Armani silk single-breasted jacket, which costs a whopping £2,500.

Its description says: “A fabric that perfectly hugs the feminine silhouette, sleek lines slipping over the figure, timeless details that complete an immediately recognisable garment: the Giorgio Armani jacket has found new, contemporary styles and will always be an essential garment in any woman’s wardrobe.

“Here, it’s rendered even more unique, made from Mulberry silk yarn, which is UPGRADE, thanks to its extremely fine and even filaments, its smooth texture, and its durability.”

The Duchess paired this with matching Armani trousers that retail for £1,400.

The trousers are described as “sophisticated, pure silk trousers” that are “characterised by a fresh, casual elegance.”

The description continues: “Clean lines and minimalist details make this garment an evergreen piece in every woman’s wardrobe that can be personalised in a variety of ways, for all sorts of occasions.”

Meghan first wore the jacket and trousers combination in 2023 during a brief trip to San Diego with Prince Harry.

For footwear, the mother-of-two donned Armani velvet court shoes with an asymmetric top line, costing £650.

Their description says: “A classic and enduring style, perfect for everyday outfits and for the most special occasions.

The duchess previously wore these shoes in 2021 during a trip to New York.

To accessorise, Meghan carried Armani’s “Satin la Prima clutch bag” which costs £1,250.

This bag contains the following description: “La Prima family clutch bag made of satin recalling a ’90s aesthetic.

“The style retains its iconic shape, with rounded lines and darts at the corners, and features a lipstick holder and small vanity mirror inside.

“An offering designed for the evening, embellished with the Giorgio Armani logo in a gold finish, and featuring a practical detachable chain shoulder strap that allows you to wear it over your shoulder or carry it by hand.”

Finally, Meghan wore a double-link gold chain necklace from Anine Bing for $660 (£495), with the description: “The Double Link Chain Necklace is crafted from solid 14k gold-plated brass with twisted rope texture.”
