Meghan Markle has suffered a new blow, with her As Ever online store having only a quarter of the traffic of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop brand in October, according to fresh data.

The Duchess launched her As Ever brand in April of this year, as well as launching her With Love, Meghan series on Netflix.

The store initially sold out minutes after each stock release but as time has gone, that has appeared to occur less frequently.

Brand intelligence platform Similarweb has revealed that Asever.com had 196,831 monthly visits in October, while Goop.com had over four times that amount with 812,462.

As Ever had a lower “bounce rate “ than Goop, however, meaning visitors to Meghan’s site were more likely to look at more on the store, rather than clicking off after the first page they viewed.

A Sussex source told Newsweek: “Everybody’s really pleased that some of the gremlins that were there at the start—that are inevitable with any new business—seem to have been ironed out now… as it related to things like supply chain, production, scalability, that sort of thing.

“It all seems to be in a pretty good place but it’s still a young business. There’s still and always will be room for improvement, but it’s going really, really well. It’s starting to find its stride now.”

Another Sussex source revealed that there was a significant spike in sales on the As Ever store in November, leading up to Thanksgiving.

The sales have been helped by a site-wide 20 per cent discount that has been offered this week.

Meghan is preparing for the launch of the latest instalment in her Netflix series. Her festive special is titled With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration.

The duchess took to social media to showcase what she called a “full circle moment”.

She took to social media to announce a pop-up store in West Hollywood.

She said: “Talk about a full circle moment! In my old stomping ground of West Hollywood, with a brand, friends, and family that have been part of my life for so long…

She continued to say: “So excited to introduce: @aseverofficial x @sohohouse.

“Open to everyone, full collection available (and yummy @urthcaffe just across the street).

“Sounds like a good day to me!”
