Meghan Markle has opened up on leaving behind her career in acting as she began her relationship with Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex last appeared as the character Rachel Zane in the legal drama Suits in 2017.
Meghan spoke candidly about her transition away from the familiar world of the film set while appearing on the Aspire with Emma Grede podcast which aired on Tuesday.
During the discussion, the host asked the Duchess if she ever missed acting.

“Sometimes. Sometimes,” the 43-year-old responded wistfully.
Expanding on her answer, Meghan explained that working on her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, had put that longing further into perspective.
“Being back on set with Love Megan was great because I realised how much I had missed my crew. I love being around a crew,” she said.
The comment prompted Grede to sympathise: “It must be hard to let that go.”

“Yeah, that was different,” Meghan responded.
She added that her final period on Suits was “unique” as her departure had to kept under wraps.
“We couldn’t say I was leaving necessarily. It was speculated.
“So, after seven years on the series, we couldn’t have a going away party. I couldn’t say my goodbyes,” the Duchess revealed.

Meghan agreed with those host that the nature of her exit from the legal drama was “so sad”.
Addressing any members of the “crew” who may have been tuning in, the 43-year-old expressed how much she missed them.
“You work with people for seven years… That’s a really strong connection,” she added.
During the discussion, Meghan also revealed that her public image quickly became “very different” to when she was known only as an actress.
