Jimmy Fallon has become the latest American celebrity to mock Meghan Markle on his late-night programme.
The Tonight Show host joined the growing list of critics poking fun at the Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix show “With Love, Meghan”.
During Monday’s episode, Fallon and his sidekick Steve Higgins shared a joke about Meghan’s habit of transferring shop-bought pretzels into her own personalised bags.
The segment showed the Duchess emptying pre-packaged Trader Joe’s pretzels into her own plastic bag with a personalised label.

Fallon chuckled and added: “That’s interesting. She takes it from one bag and puts it in another bag, and that confuses people.”
The scene they referenced shows Meghan transferring supermarket pretzels into her own bag with a string bow.
“This, we’re just going to put into a different bag,” she says in the Netflix show.
She then labels the bag as containing peanuts, adding: “I know that Daniel loves peanut butter but I’m going to label this anyway, you always want to be conscious if someone has a nut allergy.”

Meghan was twice scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show in 2022, but both appearances were cancelled.
Her September 2022 appearance was axed following Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
NBC later incorrectly announced a December 2022 appearance before admitting their mistake.
Prince Harry did feature on the show last September, filmed screaming while exploring a haunted maze with Fallon in New York.
The criticism extends beyond Fallon, with Family Ties star Justine Bateman accusing the couple of turning “being victims into an Olympic sport”.
Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith stated she was “not a Meghan Markle fan”, adding: “There’s more to life than how you look and how your friends think of you.”
Three Netflix stars have also condemned the show, with Whitney Cumming claiming it was a gigantic “f*** you” to the Royal Family.
