Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s popularity in Britain has decreased in recent months, just as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to move back to the UK.

Ipsos polling conducted between February 13 and February 16, 2026 among 1,088 British adults aged 18 to 75 outlines current favourability metrics across key royal figures.

According to the survey, 26 per cent of respondents view Prince Harry favourably, while 42 per cent express an unfavourable view.

A further 28 per cent report feeling neither favourable nor unfavourable, and four per cent respond that they do not know.

These figures give Prince Harry a net favourability rating of -16. The results mark a two-point drop in his favourable ratings compared to data collected in November 2025.

Longitudinal tracking in the same polling set shows Prince Harry’s favourability stood at 65 per cent in March 2018 before following a downward trend over subsequent years.

For Meghan, 17 per cent of respondents hold a favourable opinion, compared to 53 per cent who hold an unfavourable view.

Neutral responses account for 26 per cent, while five per cent state they do not know, resulting in a net favourability score of -36.
