WEST MIDLANDS POLICE

A man has been jailed for life over a religiously aggravated rape and assault of a Sikh woman.

John Ashby, 32, has been jailed for life at Birmingham Crown Court with a minimum term of 14 years for religiously aggravated rape and assault of a Sikh woman.


He subjected a stranger to racist and anti-Muslim abuse as her sexually assaulted her in her home.
