A man has died following a crash on the M60, police have said.
Emergency services were called shortly before 04:00 BST to reports of a collision between junction 21 for Chadderton and Oldham, and the Ashton-under-Lyne turn-off at junction 23.
A 57-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, said Greater Manchester Police.
Highways England said lane closures were put in place following the crash. While the clockwise M60 has since reopened, the anti-clockwise section between Junctions 23 and 21 remains closed.
