A 27-year-old man has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a music video producer in north London.

Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu has been charged with killing Finbar Sullivan, 21, who died after sustaining multiple stab wounds at Primrose Hill on April 7.

Ogunyankinnu, of Southbury Road, Enfield, was taken into custody on Friday.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed he was formally charged on Sunday.

He is scheduled to appear before Stratford Magistrates’ Court on April 13.

A second individual, a 25-year-old man detained on suspicion of helping an offender, has been released without further action being taken.

Mr Sullivan was studying filmmaking at the London Screen Academy and had aspirations of becoming a cinematographer like his grandfather, Michael Seresin.

Mr Seresin is known for his work on major productions including Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Azkaban and Rambo III.

The young filmmaker had been creating music videos for drill rap artists, working under the professional name Sully Shot It.

The incident occurred on a Tuesday afternoon when violence erupted at the well-known north London park.

Emergency services received a call at 6.41pm that day.

Mr Sullivan had departed from his Maida Vale residence just two hours earlier, carrying newly purchased camera equipment and telling his father he would return for dinner.

He sustained multiple stab wounds during the attack.

Despite efforts by paramedics and bystanders to save him, he died at the well-known London beauty spot.

Another man in his twenties, thought to be an acquaintance of Mr Sullivan, was also stabbed and discovered nearby by officers.

He was transported to hospital, where medical staff confirmed his injuries were not life-threatening.

The park had been busy with visitors taking advantage of warm weather in the days after Easter.

Mr Sullivan’s father, Christopher, an artist and musician, told the Mail: “I’m so broken-hearted, I can’t believe it.

“He was the most beautiful, lovely, outgoing, loving boy. He was just a really lovely person.

“We were just about to start a company together… he was going to do his showreel today with me. And now he’s dead.”
