Look Mum No Computer, who came in last place while representing the UK at last weekend’s Eurovision, has found a unique way to cash in on the loss.

The 37-year-old musician, whose real name is Sam Battle, faced the crushing defeat at Vienna’s Wiener Stadthalle last Saturday, while Bulgaria won the contest.


The country’s entry, Dara, enjoyed a strong victory as her song won both the jury and audience votes.

Meanwhile, Look Mum No Computer finished bottom of the table in 25th place with his song, Eins, Zwei, Drei. The tune was awarded just one point from the jury vote.

In the days since the humiliating loss, Look Mum No Computer, who shares his electronic music on YouTube, has applauded Bulgaria, labelling their act a “deserved winner.”

He wrote on an Instagram post: “Met a lot of amazing folk the most important thing is we all tried our hardest.

“Regardless of what is against us. Whatever it may be. Gotta keep trying your hardest regardless of the f****** outcome!!! #eurovision.” (sic)

He’s now also decided to sell merchandise, including T-shirts reading “Look Mum No Points.”

The artist shared the update on social media, acknowledging that the text isn’t entirely accurate.

He penned: “WHILST NOT TECHNICALLY CORRECT…….. as it is EINS points off. but they are now available! link in profile.. #eurovision.” (sic)

Fans quickly responded to the unique reaction to the contest result, with one writing: “If you can capitalise off of other people’s ‘hatred’ of you, you’re the one who’s winning.”

A second shared: “As a German, Eins Zwei Drei was the first British ESC entry that I loved right away, a perfect representation of British independent music and humour. Ordered the shirt as well.”

“I’m from Ukraine, and your performance was one of my favorites. Maybe the world just needs a few more years to grow into this level,” another commented.

A fourth added: “Ordered. You won our respect and love. Plus these shirts will be a talking point. Let’s have an electro synth eurovision event. No winners. Just bangin choonz.” (sic)

Someone else enthused: “You were incredible. Your real victory is the experience you created and the fact that so many of us across Europe discovered you through this journey.”

“You’re a fricking legend, Sam,” one more posted. (sic)

Look Mum No Computer’s defeat marks the third year in a row of the UK being awarded zero points from the public vote, with last year’s Remember Monday and 2024’s Olly Alexander facing the same result.

This year’s competition was once again shrouded in controversy as Israel’s participation continues to be a point of contention.

Several countries boycotted this year’s contest over the debate, including Ireland, Slovenia, The Netherlands, Spain and Iceland.

Israel’s entry Noah Bettan finished in second place, marking the third year in a row of the same result for the country.
