GB News Political Editor Christopher Hope recalls the moment he saw Larry the Cat, Downing Street’s Chief Mouser, hunting and killing a mouse.

Speaking to GB News after the incident, Christopher said: “It was a rather a grim end for a mouse. Larry the Cat went hunting in the building just behind the camera, which is the Foreign Office.

“He went away and came back within minutes with the actual mouse in his mouth. He pulled it across the road here and consumed it next door to the doors of Downing Street in long grass, so we couldn’t actually see the gruesome end for the mouse.

“But perhaps that’s the most interesting thing that happened today in Downing Street!”
