Lady Victoria Beckham opted for signature simplicity at Windsor Castle today, choosing a black sleeveless Draped Midi Dress from her own label, as Sir David Beckham received a knighthood.

The £1,190 look, shown in images from inside the castle, featured a softly draped neckline, a streamlined mid-calf hem and classic black pumps as she walked the gilded rooms of the Grand Reception.

Posh Spice finished her look with a neat up-do and understated styling.

The brand, Victoria Beckham, was established in 2008 and focuses on clean lines, precise drapes, and quietly formal palettes, perfectly suited for a daytime investiture.

Paired with pointed court shoes, the monochrome styling kept attention on David’s investiture.

David, 50, wore traditional morning dress, also designed by his wife.

This marked the first time Victoria had designed a gentleman’s morning suit, as well as the first time she had made any clothing for David.

The beautiful tailoring allowed Victoria’s understated look to appear intentional, keeping the focus on the investiture itself.

Inside the Grand Reception Room, David bowed before the King to receive the honour for services to sport and charity.

The former England captain was invested at Windsor Castle in a morning ceremony attended by Victoria and his parents, Ted and Sandra Beckham. The honour has elevated him to Sir David Beckham, and Victoria to Lady Beckham.

David Beckham’s recognition reflects a two-decade career at the top of the game, including 115 England caps and captaincy in 59 matches, alongside long-standing philanthropic work.

He has been a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador since 2005 and has fronted initiatives on child protection and health.

More recently, he has supported the King’s Foundation on youth skills and horticulture.

The knighthood follows his earlier OBE in 2003, marking the second time a Beckham investiture has prompted a notable fashion moment.

Then, Victoria chose a white outfit and a matching hat; today, she returned wearing her own brand.

The knighthood also comes after years of speculation about when the honour might be conferred, now formalised at Windsor.

Royal fans loved Victoria’s look, with one writing on X: “Marvellous and so deserving. As always, elegant.”

Another said: “Gorgeous dress! She always looks fabulous.”

A third commented: “The ‘drape’ of the dress is pretty. An elegant choice.”

Finally, someone posted: “Beautiful dress. Love the look of beaming pride in his dad’s face. Also, Victoria designed David’s suit ( her first entry into menswear). I think the suit and Sir David Beckham both look spectacular!”
