Labour and the Conservatives have been pushed to an “all-time record low” in the latest mega-poll while Nigel Farage can bask in the glory of his winning streak, a pollster has said.
Sir John Curtice told GB News’ Martin Daubney his verdict on the latest figures, arguing that the traditional two-party system is being increasingly challenged by the Westminster newcomers.
Earlier this week, a YouGov poll put Reform UK on 27 per cent. However, the latest poll from Find Out Now indicated Reform could be up for winning 32 per cent of votes, with the Greens in second-place on 17 per cent.
Both the Tories and Labour are sitting on just 16 per cent of votes each. Giving his insight, Sir John Curtice told Martin Daubney: “This is an all-time record low.
“There is no doubt that there is a very substantial challenge to the traditional two-party system of Conservative versus Labour politics.”
In the past, Reform has been the “principal challenger”, enticing voters from the Conservatives as well as fragments from Labour and the Liberal Democrats too.
“They’ve been running out at 30 per cent or just above ever since the beginning of May,” Sir John explained.
“But what we’ve seen since the emergence of Zack Polanski as the leader of the Greens is a pretty consistent increase in their support in the polls.”

“There has been, frankly, some disagreement between the polls exactly how well the Greens are doing.
“But if you take the average of the most recent polls, they’re now running at 14 per cent.”
Mr Polanski was crowned leader on September 2, beating out more moderate candidates to take lead of the ever-growing group.
Meanwhile, Sir Keir Starmer has been fighting a losing battle in the polls, with a poll this week revealing voters backing Nigel Farage over the Labour leader.
“Reform is going to end up being first in the vast bulk of constituencies now at this point,” Sir John added.
He continued: “Of course, we just have to say, Martin, it is four years probably to the next General Election.
“An awful lot can happen in that time, but it does underline the seriousness of the challenge that the two traditional parties are currently facing at the moment, but now not just from Reform but also from the Greens.”
The Greens, he argued, are now possibly becoming “significant players in their electoral politics”.

As of today, Reform UK has become the first to win 51 by-elections since May as Nigel Farage’s party celebrates another pair of local victories.
Announcing his party’s by-election milestone this morning, Mr Farage raved: “Reform UK becomes the first party to win 50 local council by-elections since May 1.”
The Liberal Democrats are in second place, with 45 wins, followed by the Tories at 16. Meanwhile, Labour is lagging behind with 13 victories to its name.
