Comedian and Joker 2 actor Tim Dillon has slammed the new movie as the “worst film ever made” as he opened up on a few behind-the-scenes bombshells.
The 39-year-old appears briefly in the movie, playing an Arkham Asylum guard where the titular character is held.
Joker: Folie à Deux, starring Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck (Joker) and Lady Gaga as love interest Lee Quinzel, is a sequel to 2019’s Oscar-winning box office smash Joker.
Phoenix took home the Best Actor Oscar for his performance while the film received a slew of other nominations including Best Picture and Best Director.
However, fans were divided when they learned Director Todd Phillips intended the sequel to be a musical set to mostly pre-existing songs.
October’s Joker 2 fell massively short of expectations, with critics and fans alike panning the movie.

Joker 2 also failed miserably at the box office, leaving producers Warner Brothers with as much as £153 million in losses – making it one of 2024’s worst performers.
Dillon didn’t hold back in his own opinions on the film, declaring it “terrible.”
“I was in Joker 2, which just came out,” the comedian began to Joe Rogan while appearing on his podcast.
“It’s the worst film that has ever been made,” he continued, slamming it for having “no plot.”

The 39-year-old’s tirade concluded with the declaration: “It’s not even hate-watchable. That’s how terrible it is.”
However, Dillon also explained he was not alone in his feelings about Joker 2.
While on set, Dillon’s discussions with his fellow actors all came to grim conclusions about the film.
“We would sit there, me and these other guys were all dressed in these security outfits because we’re working at the Arkham Asylum, and I would turn to one of them and we’d hear this c**p and I’d go, ‘What the f*** is this?’”
While at lunch, the comedian says one actor told him: “This is gonna bomb, man.”
Reflecting on Joker 2’s unusual choices, Dillon believed it was made as a reaction to the “wrong kinds of people” liking the original.
The comedian argued: “There was a lot of talk like, ‘Oh, this was loved by incels.’
“‘This was loved by the wrong kinds of people. This sent the wrong kind of message. Male rage! Nihilism! All these think pieces.’”
Dillon added that the attempt to “go the other way” resulted in “Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga tap dancing to a point where it’s insane.”
Since revealing all to Rogan, he has continued to slam the film across his social media.
