Wales Under-21 goalkeeper Kit Margetson is poised to leave Swansea City for Manchester United.
The 19-year-old is the son of Martyn Margetson, who left his role as Swansea’s head of goalkeeping at the end of last season.
The younger Margetson joined Swansea at under-15 level and, though he has not featured at first-team level for the Championship club, he played regular senior football during a loan spell at Connah’s Quay Nomads in 2025-26.
With Margetson’s contract up this summer, Swansea said in May that they were “in discussions” with the player over a new deal.
However, Swansea are now expecting Margetson to depart, with United likely to pay a compensation fee to secure his services.
