KIMBERLY Wyatt has revealed she wears every item of clothing she buys at least thirty times before re-selling it.
The Pussycat Doll, 42, said she is an advocate for sustainable shopping and regularly buys her clothes from re-sell apps like Depop.
Speaking to The Mail, she explained: ‘Sustainability has been a huge importance of mine for a really, really long time.
So, it’s nice to be there after over ten years of campaigning and being kind of a mindful consumer, that we’ve come to a point where sustainability has become a cool factor as well.
‘I’ve always been passionate about buying and selling on secondhand apps.
‘I think it’s a great way to close the circular economy and make sure that those items of clothing that you’ve always loved can find second homes.’

She continued: ‘If I go to a big red carpet event renting is great.
‘I love upcycling as well, which is great for those secondhand apps, because you can see potential in them that others might not be able to see.
‘And if I do buy then I like to look at an item of clothing and make sure I can give it at least 30 wears before I find its next home.
‘And I can’t keep up with my kids growth. They can wear clothes for maybe six months before it starts getting short sleeves in the legs.
‘I’ve always been a secondhand girl. My mum always took us to garage sales, and I was always in the hand me downs from my brothers and sisters.
‘So I’ve always kind of been on that tip, and of course, carried that on into my own life as a mum.
‘It’s much cooler to do the whole secondhand shopping and and the passing down now.
Kimberly’s comments come as new research from Virgin Media O2 Business and Depop reveals 23.8 million Brits are turning to online second-hand selling platforms, with over two thirds worried about Christmas affordability.

The Virgin Media O2 Business data also reveals second-hand sellers are earning an average of £146 a month, £1,752 a year, enough to offset the UK’s average energy bill.
The mum of three was asked if she feels the pressure to wear new items on red carpets, she said: ‘I think the pressure is there whether I want it to be or not.
‘I’ve tried to shy away from the pressure in the past and have felt it come down on me.
‘I think the the rental apps have been an absolute godsend, it gives me that next lease of life, knowing that I’m not just going to get an item of clothing for one time.
Asked if she has sold items from when she was a Pussycat Doll, she told The Mail: ‘I have sold items that I’ve worn on red carpets, to events.
‘I think there have been some Pussycat Doll bits that I have sold a few years back. I like to create almost like a secondhand experience so they know whatever they’re buying has sort of had its own little adventure.
‘Hopefully that makes it feel that much more special when they do get it.’

Last month Kimberly revealed that her world ‘came crashing down’ when the Pussycat Dolls reunion was axed, leaving her broke.
Speaking on the Mile Fly Club with Laura Hamilton, Kimberly admitted she had cleared her schedule to make way for the reunion – but went into ‘panic mode’ when it was axed.
‘Three young kids, paying school fees and all these things – it changed our world, we’ve had to rejig our entire life because of it.
‘You end lots of your work to open all this space to go on the road so when it all comes crashing down it was panic mode.’
