Sir Keir Starmer introduced first Holocaust survivor ever to address the Cabinet in the UK today, as he said it was a “special privilege” to speak with her.

Ms Tribich recounted her harrowing experiences in Nazi concentration camps and paid tribute to her late brother, Holocaust educator and Olympian Ben Helgott.

The Prime Minister highlighted the recent passing of the Holocaust Memorial Bill, which will see a permanent learning centre built next to Parliament.

Ms Tribich urged leaders to act against antisemitism and hatred, stressing that remembering the past is no longer enough.
