Princess and Junior Andre have broken down in tears while discussing their mother Katie Price’s cocaine addiction in her new Sky documentary, Katie Price: Nothing to Hide.

The siblings, now 21 and 19, spoke candidly about the devastating period following their mother’s 2018 separation from third husband Kieran Hayler, describing it as the most challenging time of their lives.

Junior recalled that the former glamour model “wasn’t being a mum” during her drug use, leaving the children to fend for themselves.

“We as siblings just kind of looked after each other,” he said. “I remember me trying to figure out if food was microwavable to feed us for dinner.”

Princess, who was around 10 or 11 at the time, agreed she could not speak to her mother about what was happening because Katie simply was not present.

The emotional scenes in the documentary’s final episode capture Junior recounting a particularly harrowing memory from that period.

“I was in her bed waiting for her to come back, and I woke up 3:30am to loud noises,” he explained. “She came in the room, I’ll never forget the look on her face. She was obviously on stuff, and it scared me. I’d never seen my mum like this.”

He described watching his mother repeatedly “falling down the same hole,” which ultimately prompted him to move in with his father, Peter Andre, at just 14 years old.

“Thank god that my dad was stable because that’s the house that I went to and gained my sanity back,” Junior said, adding that the experience left him questioning whether he and his siblings were “not good enough” for their mother to change.

Princess, meanwhile, remained at home, describing how Katie would spray perfume on a blanket as a substitute for her presence.

“I used to go home and feel so lonely. I would just cuddle the blanket and cry,” she said.

Katie’s mother, Amy Price, also appears in the documentary, revealing that her daughter had confided in her about the reasons behind her drug use.

“I don’t do it to get high, I do it because it quietens my brain down,” Katie reportedly told her mother.

The 48-year-old has previously spoken publicly about using cocaine to self-medicate during periods of severe distress.

Her substance abuse reached a critical point in September 2021 when she crashed her car while under the influence. At the scene, she confessed to officers: “I took drugs, I should not be driving.”

Katie received a 16-week suspended sentence and a two-year driving ban following the incident. She was also ordered to attend rehabilitation, where she spent six weeks at The Priory and received an ADHD diagnosis.

In the documentary, Katie admitted she was experiencing suicidal thoughts at the time of the crash.

“I was more than rock bottom. I didn’t want to be here. I wanted to die,” she said.

Katie expressed profound remorse in the documentary about the impact her behaviour had on her children.

“When I hear how the kids saw it, it breaks my heart,” she said. “Kids need their mum, kids need their mum’s love, their mum’s hugs, and I thought I was giving that, but obviously I wasn’t.”

She acknowledged that while others helped care for her children during that period, it was insufficient. “I was unwell. I couldn’t even look after myself,” she added.

Both siblings say their relationship with their mother has transformed since her rehabilitation.

“I feel like I’ve got my mum back,” Junior said, describing her as “a special gem” and expressing relief that she survived the crash.

Princess echoed this sentiment, saying Katie has made significant improvements to her mental health. “I feel the love from her again,” she said.
