Katie Price has once again seemingly reached out to her ex, Dwight Yorke, through their son, Harvey.

The former footballer is father to Ms Price’s oldest child, 23-year-old Harvey, who has autism, Prada-Willi syndrome, septo-optic dysplasia, and is blind.

Mr Yorke famously doesn’t have much involvement in his son’s life, with Ms Price claiming he last saw Harvey in 2012.

In a new social media post, the former glamour model shared a clip of Harvey dressed in a Manchester United kit. Ms Price can be heard instructing her son to “go”.

On his mother’s cue, he states: “Oi, oi, Yorkey.” Ms Price then tagged the football team as well as Mr Yorke, who played for Manchester United from 1998 to 2002.

Ms Price last publicly commented on Mr Yorke in May, where she took a swipe at him during an interview.

“I was with Dwight Yorke, but he cheated on me, and that ended anyway, and he wasn’t around for Harv,” she commented.

Speaking on the Outlet Ten Discussion podcast, she added: “So, that’s a different thing. I fended for myself, for me and Harv. Even though Dwight is very welcome, any time, to come into Harvey’s life, because I’m not that kind of person.”

Mr Yorke had initially denied he was Harvey’s father until a DNA test proved he was. Ms Price has also claimed Harvey has only seen his dad about nine times in his life.

She has previously used social media to issue public pleas to the former sportsman, with Harvey often sharing messages with his estranged dad. In 2019, she shared a video of Harvey saying: “Daddy Dwight. I love you Daddy Dwight. You look beautiful.”

She captioned the post: “Anyone who knows Dwight Yorke please get him to contact his son.

“Harvey doesn’t deserve this. He sees his other son, Tiger, so I don’t understand!

“He does charity work for different kids’ charities, yet doesn’t see or support his own son. I don’t get it!”

Ms Price is often candid about the struggles and joys that come from caring for her son, and shared a “sad” admission about Harvey in June.

She revealed she’d had to send Harvey back to college early after he smashed her £3,000 television.

Addressing fans on Snapchat, she explained she was awoken by the sound and went on to film Harvey, asking him: “What has mummy just heard?”

Harvey calmly responded: “Smashing the TV.”

Ms Price went on to tell him: “You were going to college tomorrow to get some new meds [medication], but now, when are you going? You are going now.”

Harvey replied: “Oh God,” before apologising, to which Ms Price maintained: “Well, you’ve got to go to college now and get some meds.”

Ms Price later explained to fans she’d spent the rest of the day getting a new TV and had needed to send her son back to college.

In another post on the image-sharing site, Ms Price branded the entire saga as “sad” after bidding her son farewell.
