Known to Kath and Kim fans as the home of ‘Mandy the Nosey Neighbour’, the two-storey brick dwelling is built right next to the location that was used to film the beloved series between 2002-2007.
Situated 35 kilometres from the CBD, in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs, the home is built right on the main canal of Patterson Lakes.
The neighbourhood became the fictional Fountain Lakes in the Kath & Kim series.

It comes after the property which was ‘home’ to Kath & Kim has been replaced with a new chic property and is completely unrecognisable to millions of fans of the show.
The original two-storey blonde brick home, which was used as a filming location for the beloved series was completely demolished in 2022.
In its place is a stunning a sleek modern spread with floor-to-ceiling glass walls and a chic façade reported New Idea in April.
Photos reveal the new home features an entertainment deck and a private pontoon.
No details of the property have been released, but according to Domain Patterson Lakes has median price of $1,280,000 for a family home.
The original Kath and Kim property was sold in 2011 for $1.23 million and then again in 2014 for $1.3 million.

The show followed the misadventures of cheerful Kath (Jane Turner) and her hard-to-please daughter Kim (Gina Riley) in the fictional Melbourne outer suburb of Fountain Lakes.
Magda Szubanski played fan favourite Sharon Strzelecki, Kim’s ‘second best friend’.
The character of Mandy, who appeared in brief cameos throughout the long running series, became a favourite for Kath and Kim fans.
In one episode the nosey neighbour can be seen popping her head over Kath and Kim’s fence to find the mother and daughter have a relaxing spa.
The series also spawned the television movie ‘Da Kath & Kim Code’ in 2005 and the feature film ‘Kath & Kimderella’ in 2012.
In November 2022, Channel Seven dropped a special ‘Our Effluent Life’ special on celebrating 20 years of the Australian comedy series.
The 74-minute program featured a mix of freshly minted scenes as well as never-before-seen moments, as well as a blooper reel.
