Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell have welcomed their first child together, sharing the joyful news with fans in a heartfelt social media announcement.

The former Strictly Come Dancing partners, who first met on the BBC show in 2018, revealed the arrival of their baby boy in a touching Instagram post that quickly drew hundreds of reactions.


Mr Sugg, 32, confirmed the news by posting a series of intimate family photos alongside a simple but emotional caption.

“Never felt a love like it. Baby Bowden Mark Richard Sugg. 16/03/26,” he wrote.

The images offered a glimpse into the couple’s first moments as parents, including a sweet shot of their newborn lying in a hospital cot.

Another showed Ms Buswell cradling the baby on her chest shortly after the birth, while a third captured Mr Sugg carrying his son home for the first time.

The couple, who announced they were expecting their first child in September 2025, have been sharing updates with fans throughout the pregnancy.

Ms Buswell, 36, even made Strictly history by continuing to perform while pregnant, earning widespread praise for her determination and positivity.

Friends and fellow Strictly stars were quick to congratulate the couple in the comments.

Karen Carney wrote: “CONGRATULATIONS what beautiful news…enjoy your beautiful bundle of joy.”

Amy Dowden added: “Utter perfection. So happy for you both, welcome baby Bowden! I can’t wait for cwtches xxxx.”

Vito Coppola also shared his excitement, writing: “Oh finally… I am so so happy, crying for joy and happiness. Uncle Vito cannot wait to meet you. Love love love.”

Fans flooded the post with messages of support, with many praising the couple and gushing over their newborn son.

“Ahh congratulations guys, Bowden is the absolute cutest lil baby,” one wrote, while another added: “Awww so cute. Congratulations to you both! He’s gorgeous.”

Others commented on the baby’s name and the emotional announcement.

“He’s so adorable, I just love his name. So so happy for you both, many many congratulations, he’s perfect,” one fan said.

Another wrote: “He’s so cute, congratulations, I’m so happy for you both. The best news! Welcome to the world little Bowden.”

The couple’s journey has been closely followed by fans since their relationship began after reaching the Strictly final together.

Over the years, they have become one of the show’s most popular pairings, often sharing glimpses of their life together online.
