The return of Clarkson’s Farm is shaping up to be one of the most chaotic seasons of the record-breaking Amazon Prime Video series yet.

With new livestock, mounting pressures on British farming, and Jeremy Clarkson once again making questionable decisions that drive Kaleb Cooper up the wall, fans can expect plenty of drama at Diddly Squat Farm.

Mr Cooper tries to tell Mr Clarkson that his new “EasyCare” sheep are not easy

According to trailers and interviews surrounding the new series, the upcoming season will continue to follow the ups and downs of life on Mr Clarkson’s Oxfordshire farm, with fresh challenges arriving almost daily.

One of the biggest talking points is Mr Clarkson’s decision to introduce a new breed of sheep: EasyCare sheep.

The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire star admitted that the move did not go down well with fan-favourite farm manager Mr Cooper.

Speaking about the new addition, Mr Clarkson explained: “In the first series, I was with the sheep constantly during lambing, terrified there’d be a breech birth or something awful.

The star also delves into the world of technology with a self-driving combine harvester

“EasyCare sheep just get on with it. Kaleb was absolutely furious when I bought them and spent weeks saying I’d got it wrong.”

The EasyCare breed was brought in because they are considered lower-maintenance than traditional sheep – something Mr Clarkson desperately wanted after the stressful lambing experiences shown in earlier seasons.

Unlike many breeds, EasyCare sheep naturally shed their wool and generally require less hands-on care during lambing season.

However, while the breed may be easier to manage overall, Mr Cooper quickly discovered they come with their own problems.

The star is soon left disappointed when technical issues ensue

The former Top Gear star revealed they are “hard to round up and incredibly strong,” leading to plenty of arguments and frustration on the farm.

But in typical Clarkson’s Farm fashion, the story has a funny twist, and despite initially criticising the purchase for weeks, Mr Clarkson says Mr Cooper has now quietly bought some himself.

“Then I noticed the other day that he’s quietly bought 30 for himself.”

The new season is also expected to explore wider pressures facing British farmers, including government policy changes and financial uncertainty in the agricultural sector.

Ms Hogan and Mr Cooper will also return in the latest series

Recent trailers have hinted at emotional moments too, including Mr Clarkson discussing his recent health scare and emergency heart procedure.
