Jeremy Clarkson has revealed he has lost three stone since January, crediting weight-loss injections for boosting his energy levels.

The televison presenter says he now walks further, sleeps better and feels “energised” after the treatment and having stents fitted.

Speaking in a new interview promoting his latest quiz series Millionaire Hot Seat, Clarkson told ITV he still loves a curry but avoids snacking, which he admits used to “fill you up” without noticing.

Asked how much weight he has lost, he replied simply: “Three stone since January.”

Mr Clarkson said he feels noticeably healthier and more active as a result of the change.

“Yes I walk further, I have got more energy and now I’ve got my stents in, I’m energised,” he said.

The 65-year-old added he has no desire to slow down, insisting he would “rot” without work.

The Grand Tour star made the comments as ITV confirmed he will front Millionaire Hot Seat, a fast-paced spin-off of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? launching in January 2026.

The show is described as a “tactical twist” on the classic format, with six contestants battling in a rotating chair line-up.

Only the player in the “hot seat” can answer questions, but they can pass, sending themselves to the back of the queue.

A wrong answer eliminates them and reduces the potential prize jackpot.

“It’s a very expensive game of musical chairs,” Mr Clarkson joked.

“You can be the most brilliant player and go home with nothing or you can be useless, and go home with the prize.”

He said the show reveals surprising behaviour, as players decide whether to help each other or sabotage rivals for personal gain.

“I love watching how human nature works and if they land their fellow contestants in the soup or not!”

The broadcaster said the series has already produced emotional moments.

He revealed one winning player took home £100,000 while others who helped her walked away with nothing, but still celebrated the victory.

“They both were entitled to feel aggrieved, but they didn’t,” he said.

The Millionaire brand remains a huge ratings success, with over 18 million viewers on ITV this year alone.

Stellify Media, which produces both shows, described Hot Seat as the “cheeky younger sibling” of the main programme.

Mr Clarkson believes it could match the popularity of the original format.

“I think this could be big. I could be wrong, but I have got a gut feeling about it.”

Despite saying he fears no longer being “cancelled”, Mr Clarkson insists he will not censor himself, joking: “Oh I’m bound to stand on a landline in the very near future!”

He claims his fanbase now includes “women who mob me in Chelsea Harbour”, something he says “never happened before”.

Asked whether he feels lucky, he said: “Yes, very lucky.”

Mr Clarkson says he has “no bucket list”, insisting he has already lived the life he wanted.

This is not the first time Mr Clarkson has spoken about his weight-loss efforts and the effects on his life.

Following emergency heart surgery in late 2024, he was motivated to pursue significant lifestyle changes for his health.

His initial attempt at weight loss using Ozempic proved unsuccessful, causing severe nausea and even weight gain, making him feel like a “bulimic Henry VIII”.

He found success by switching to Mounjaro, an “extraordinary game changer” that helped him lose around two stone by curbing his appetite.

This pharmaceutical approach was combined with dietary adjustments, cutting out processed foods such as bacon and chocolate, and taking up low-impact Reformer Pilates.

Mr Clarkson, who previously hated exercise, now “doesn’t unenjoy” Pilates.

Driven by a desire to improve his health and spend more time with his grandchildren, his transformation has had one humorous side effect: his trousers are constantly falling down.
