Jenny Powell revealed her Morocco holiday nightmare in an Instagram post on Monday, claiming she spent ‘five and a half hours’ stuck in the airport.
The Wheel Of Fortune star, 56, had enjoyed a winter break with her mother, 92, and daughters Constance, 22, and Pollyanna, 14.
But her journey back went far from smoothly, with the television personality taking to social media to explain how her easyJet flight had been cancelled after a lengthy delay.
Jenny told her followers at around 10pm local time: ‘Right, you know me, I’m the most patient person, very easy going. But I am in Agadier and I should have left, my flight should have left, about four hours ago now and absolutely no information whatsoever from easyJet here at Agadier airport.
‘That is not good. There’s people with little kids, my mum is 92 – nothing. Not a bottle of water, no information, nada, how amazing is that?
‘And we’ve all just worked it out for ourselves that the flight has been cancelled just from looking out onto the tarmac. So come on, where are you easyJet? Not happy. Really not happy.

‘The least you can do with your passengers is tell them what’s going on.’
An hour later, Jenny issued a further update showing her standing with her mother and some friends.
‘Right, it’s a proper s**tshow now, we’re all just waiting,’ she vented. ‘Isn’t it a s*tshow Louise? An absolute s**tshow.
‘We’ve been here for five and a half hours, we’ll be on the news hopefully. So now we’re waiting for some officials to stamp our very-stamped passports so we can get out of the airport.
‘Then we’ve got to try to find our bags and then apparently there’s a coach and apparently there are hotels, but we’re going to get in a taxi. It’s a proper s**tshow, it’s interesting isn’t it? Mum’s doing well, look. She’s not happy.’
In a final post just before the group left the airport, Jenny added: ‘So absolutely nothing from easyJet. There’s no one here at Agadier airport as far as I’m concerned.
‘There are people who work here at the airport but nobody from easyJet, no announcements, no guidance whatsoever and we’re all in a queue now to try to get out of the airport. And it’s all just hearsay, absolutely awful.
‘There’s been no drinks, no nothing. So everyone is apparently going to get on a coach and everybody apparently is going to be finding a hotel room somewhere. I’m quite gobsmacked, we’re giddy and we’re laughing but I won’t be. But easyJet, what the hell?’

Jenny had been enjoying soaking in the winter sun during the break and shared an insight into her holiday on Instagram
The TV star showed off her golden tan in a plunging red dress as she posed by the pool
On Tuesday morning, Jenny revealed the ordeal had not finished in another Instagram post.
‘The saga continues but look Myra [her mother] is still smiling. We’re still in Agadier, flight got cancelled. Not happy with easyJet, still waiting for the apology for everyone on the flight.
‘So I think it was about half past 12 when we got back in Agadier [to a hotel]. The sun’s out and we’re going to try again to get back to the UK but everyone keeps messaging to say don’t bother because the weather is so bad. Breakfast and then on and on.’
Her last update came in a taxi headed to the airport to give her return home another go.
‘We’ve just received a message from easyJet saying, “the aircraft is a bit smaller than the one we had intended on so if anyone wants to volunteer to go on another flight we’ll give you €450.
‘Now I’m going to the airport, there’s four of us actually. So if you’ve not got much to do today and want a bit of drama, just stick with us. What should we call this? Dramas in Agadier? Thanks easyJet.’
MailOnline has contacted EasyJet for comment.
Jenny had been enjoying soaking in the winter sun and her mother looked very youthful on her Instagram on Monday as she sunbathed poolside in a collarless sheer white shirt over a floral-patterned bathing suit.
In another snap shared by Jenny she looked laid back on the outdoor sofa, while wearing a white crew neck sweatshirt and rectangular glasses with a black rim.
Jenny captioned her post: ‘3 generation trip away! Nanny, Connie, Polly and me.
‘And at 92 years old my Mum is living proof of good genes, a hardy South African heritage and that staying mobile and having a youthful attitude to life makes all the difference .. just wow at 92!!
‘And thank you @olivia_travelcounsellors for getting 3 generations away on a little trip to the sun!’
In an Instagram story poolside, Jenny’s mother said: ‘[The holiday] was very relaxing, very friendly people, very polite. It suited me, it was not overwhelming. It was just dead right for somebody of my age.’
The Wheel of Fortune star could be seen in a turquoise vest top, leaving her long dark tresses loose and opting for a radiant palette of makeup to accentuate her beauty.
Jenny, who is engaged to fiancé Martin Lowe, has two children from her previous relationship with Toby Baxendale, a British entrepreneur.
Jenny underwent a hysterectomy last year to subside her severe menopause symptoms which she has been incredibly open about.
Reflecting on her recovery and sharing images of her scars healing last year she warned for other women to ‘take the healing process seriously’.
The presenter took to social media to post various snaps from their relaxing winter holiday to Morocco with her daughters Constance, 22, (pictured) and Pollyanna, 14
She penned: ‘What a month four weeks on from my robotic hysterectomy and healing well. I have been overwhelmed, truly, by the response to my posts and updates.
‘I’m planning on an event and building a community on here but also keeping in touch with as many of you as I can. So just to say, healing and slowing down to do so is hard work in itself.
‘I’ve found it very hard to ignore the chores of every day life in work, at home and play. So take the healing process seriously or it will bite you on the bum later on down the line.
‘Make sure you have a plan in place and get the right advice post op regarding your hormones/HRT/self care and accept help whenever you get it… (thank you, Mum, my girls and everyone at work!) so hystersisters, more to come as we are on the road to recovery… we’ve got this!!’
