Former Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has decided to leave Cremonese when his contract expires this summer.

The 39-year-old scored seven goals and provided three assists in 29 appearances, but it was not enough to save the Italian side from relegation.

It is understood Vardy is still enjoying his football and believes he can continue playing at a high level, including in the Premier League, with Dutch side Feyenoord among the clubs to have shown interest this summer.

Vardy scored 200 goals in 500 matches for Leicester, famously winning the Premier League and FA Cup, and is regarded as one of the club’s greatest players of all time.

He also scored seven goals in 26 appearances for England and was part of the Three Lions squad for Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup.
