Jaguar has released teaser images of the interior of its upcoming Type 01, just weeks before the highly anticipated vehicle is officially unveiled.
The Jaguar Type 01 interior has been unveiled for the first time, with the iconic British brand describing it as “architectural drama”.
Following a major brand overhaul, Jaguar has made significant changes to every detail of Type 01 as it embodies a new design style.
A central spine will run along the full length of the cabin to create four individual spaces, moving from concept to production.
Jaguar said the changes to the cabin would allow the driver to have a low seating position that inspires confidence.
Thomas Holden, chief interior designer at Jaguar, said: “Our holistic design philosophy translates the vehicle’s exterior presence into a distinctive interior architecture.
“In contrast to the horizontal interior design norm, we emphasise its dramatic longitudinal nature through the central spine – an architectural statement that creates four individual spaces.
“With authentic materials, technology on demand and reductive flowing surfaces, Type 01 presents unmistakable drama and theatre that will define the modern luxury automotive interior of the future.”

The Type 01 prototype will debut in North America with a “distinctive new wrap” at Monterey Car Week in California this week.
