Hull forward Jack Ashworth has received a three-match ban for his dismissal against Catalans Dragons on Saturday.
Ashworth was sent to the sin-bin for a hit on Dragons’ Chris Satae late in the first half of his side’s 26-12 defeat.
The Rugby Football League has also handed St Helens centre Mark Percival a two-match ban for his controversial dismissal against Salford on Friday.
Percival saw red in the 43rd minute of his side’s 24-20 home defeat for a shoulder charge on Jack Ormondroyd.
Both players have been charged with a head contact offence and fined £250, while Huddersfield Giants’ Jack Murchie and Wigan Warriors’ Luke Thompson have received the same financial penalties but avoided suspensions.
