An Italian jewellery house has spoken out after the Princess of Wales decided to wear one of its bracelets.

Catherine continued her Italian tour on Thursday with a visit to The Salvador Allende pre-school in Reggio Emilia, dressed in an ensemble that epitomised understated elegance.

Perhaps the most sentimental piece in her ensemble was a bracelet from Atelier Molayem, a small jewellery house based in Milan.

The 9kt yellow gold cube initials bracelet comes from the brand’s ‘ABC’ collection and carries personal significance.

The Milan-based label expressed their gratitude on Instagram, stating: “Atelier Molayem is deeply honoured that HRH Catherine, Princess of Wales, chose to wear our 9kt yellow gold cube initials bracelet from the ‘ABC’ collection.”

They added that the piece, “crafted in collaboration with @relaisroncolo1888 and paired with original Liberty fabric, the jewel celebrates the people we hold closest to our hearts, those we wish to carry with us always.”

Catherine, 44, selected an off-white pleated midi skirt from Jenni Kayne, priced at £325, featuring a high waist and a refined A-line shape.

She layered the look with the Wind Hunter Charmer Blazer from Italian brand Blazé Milano, adding structure to the outfit whilst providing warmth in the 16-degree spring weather.

The combination perfectly suited the occasion as she observed children participating in outdoor activities and engaged with educators about the school’s innovative teaching methods.

The princess accessorised with Kiki McDonough Candy Green Amethyst and Diamond Earrings, a striking piece valued at £3,200.

Around her waist, she wore the Viva Nal suede belt from Blazé Milano, which retails for £335.

For footwear, Catherine opted for the “Alicia” slingback flats by Camilla Elphick in taupe and black.

The combination of neutral tones throughout the outfit created a cohesive aesthetic that fashion observers have described as “quiet luxury”, a style the princess has increasingly embraced for her public engagements.
