Gold has been valued for centuries as a way of storing wealth, and its limited supply makes it fundamentally different from traditional currencies.

But owning gold has historically meant purchasing physical bars or coins, arranging secure storage and finding a buyer when you want to sell.

TallyMoney aims to make gold ownership more accessible by bringing it into an everyday financial account.

Instead of holding a balance in pounds, customers hold units called ‘tally’, with each tally representing one milligram of physical gold.

This means customers can own gold without needing to store it themselves, while enjoying many of the familiar features of a modern financial account.

Through the TallyMoney app, account holders can manage their balance, send and receive money, and access their funds without a fixed lock-in period.

They can also use a TallyMoney debit Mastercard to make everyday purchases in different currencies, with the necessary amount of gold converted when they spend.

Whether it’s shopping online, paying for a meal or making purchases abroad, TallyMoney is designed to make holding and spending gold a practical part of everyday life.
