Lena Dunham gave a glimpse inside her stylish and colourful London home as she took to Instagram with a new post on Thursday.
The actress, 38, swapped her $2.8M Los Angeles bungalow for a property in the Big Smoke after marrying her Peruvian-British musician husband Luis Felber in 2021.
Her lavish living room features a classic white fireplace on which Picasso-style paintings sit upon, while an eye-popping pink leather sofa complements an unmissable red rug, which features minimalistic black motifs.
She also has a stunning wooden kitchen table, quirky rugs for her cats to make themselves comfortable on and a beautiful kitchen – with Luis posed in for one snap.
Lena penned in the caption: ‘There’s nothing (literally nothing) I love more than decorating a home.
‘The process of finding pieces that live in harmony (especially sustainable and unique pieces) and building rooms that allow us to make art – and also find calm – is a joy (a chaotic joy- @attawalpa will tell you I love to procure and hate to unpack…)

‘@wilkinson_rivera created heirloom pieces by hand that fulfilled all our coziest fantasies.
‘What do we call this look? ‘Aging eccentric with a love of cake.’ Though my father says it’s ‘actually quite reserved and contained compared to your past work.’
‘I’m so lucky to live with Lulu, who invites all the color and flair I can muster. But to paraphrase Jaqueline Susann, no man’s masculinity has ever been compromised by a pink bedroom- only improved.
‘Hope you’re cozy and content in whatever your haven is!’
It comes after earlier this year Lena had her social media followers blushing as she gave them a risque revelation about how she met Luis.
To celebrate their wedding anniversary, the Girls creator took to Instagram to reveal that the pair’s love affair started with a one-night stand, while also saying Felber was ‘the only straight man I could ever share a house with.’
She shared college – which included a picture of them cuddling, and a throwback picture of herself and himself.
The pair met in January 2021 on a blind date – after being set up by friends – and tied the knot in September 2021.

Lena wrote: ‘I’m so happy that we survived all this.. to become this. Happy third wedding anniversary to this indie sleaze icon, the only straight man I could ever share a house with, my collaborator, caretaker, lover and pal. It’s us or bust. p.s. This is your sign to marry your one night stand (but only if they’re up for it.)’
During their first date, Lena and Luis spent hours together, with Luis telling The New York Times their date was about ‘eight hours’ long.
They were walking around London talking and getting to know each other during their January 2021 meet up.
‘It was a blind date. A mutual friend of ours basically set us up. The first time we hung out, we didn’t stop talking for, like, eight hours…. I think it was sort of incredible you know. I walked into that,’ Luis told the NYT.
‘I’d been on quite a few dates in the past year. As someone who’s quite open, I find you hold a lot back on your first three dates. Or first 10 dates. I was just a big fed up with that, so I just walked into the situation very myself, shall I say. And Lena liked that. And she’s the same,’ he added.
Months after their first date, the couple moved in together.
‘I think when you know, you know. I’ve only been alive for 35 years in this lifetime, and I think it’s another archaic thing for guys to hide their feelings. I’m way more into the flow of getting to know the person. And I think Lena’s the same, and I think – I’m going to sound cheesy – but when you find your soulmate, you just know,’ he said to the outlet.
They married in September 2021 at Union Club in London – which is a members only club.
Her pal Taylor Swift served as one of her bridesmaids.
Luis, who is a musician, has also worked together professionally.
His music video for his song Tucked in Tight was directed by Lena.
He also wrote the music for her movie Sharp Stick.
The couple are also co-producing and co-creating the series Too Much for Netflix.
In May, Lena spoke out about her genetic condition, Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, in an Instagram post.
