Ikea will open its highly anticipated Oxford Street store on Thursday, May 1 2025.
The new store will offer customers a place to shop over 6,000 Ikea product lines and dine affordably in central London.
Prices range from everyday essentials starting at just £0.75 for Ikea 365+ food storage items to the Micke desk at £45.
The market hall on the lowest floor will feature a curated selection of 3,500 affordable home furnishing accessories and small furniture available for immediate purchase.
Smaller furniture pieces can be taken home in the iconic blue Frakta bag.
For larger furniture items or any product from Ikea’s 10,000-strong range, customers can arrange delivery or collection from a network of pick-up points.

The 130-seater Swedish Deli on the first lower level offers visitors a chance to take a break whilst shopping.
Ikea’s beloved classics are on the menu, including their signature meatballs served with mashed potatoes, lingonberry jam and cream sauce for £4.95.
Customers can also grab the iconic hot dog for just £0.75.
The affordable dining options complement the retailer’s commitment to accessibility, ensuring visitors can enjoy the full Ikea experience in central London.

The store’s layout begins with a uniquely London-inspired ground floor featuring expansive home inspiration and curated shops co-created with Londoners.

One floor down, shoppers will discover inspirational roomsets and a specially designed home planning hub.
The Ikea Oxford Street store will be open daily from 10am until 8pm from its launch date.
The opening follows the closure of the Hus of Frakta pop-up concept store, which will shut its doors on March 23.

Westminster City Council Leader, Cllr Adam Hug, welcomed the arrival, saying: “By taking on one of London’s most iconic retail spaces, Ikea is breathing new life into Oxford Circus.”
The council has supported local employment by helping residents apply for the 150 roles available at the new store.
