Paloma Faith has hit out at pal and fellow Celebrity Traitors star Alan Carr, labelling his actions in the BBC show “not very nice”.

The Only Love Can Hurt Like This hitmaker, 44, was the first contestant to be “murdered” after comedian Mr Carr, 49, selected her as Traitors’ first victim.

The comedian, along with fellow Traitors Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns, were tasked with picking someone to kill “in plain sight”.

Ms Faith admitted she had never suspected Mr Carr, whom she made clear had been a close friend of hers prior to entering the iconic Scottish castle.

Speaking on the programme’s after show, The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, the singer confessed she hadn’t taken the reveal very well.

When she found out who the Traitors had been, Ms Faith exclaimed: “Alan! These are like three of my favourite people.

“I hope they never call me again and I mean that. Bang out of order.”

On her closeness with Mr Carr, she admitted: “I feel even more betrayed now.

“I feel betrayed by Jonathan and Alan and actually Cat, because she’s on the same record label as me and she should have some loyalty.”

She went on to say she was “surprised” by Mr Carr picking her and that she wouldn’t have done the same to him.

“I wouldn’t have done that,” she told host Ed Gamble, adding: “I don’t think it was very nice”.

As Mr Gamble and other guests attempted to justify the comedian’s choice, Ms Faith hit back: “That was a choice he made.

“If the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn’t have touched Alan.”

She concluded: “Categorically, he had a choice. It was a choice.”

“He did murder you, fair enough, I think we can say it wasn’t very nice,” Mr Gamble joked.

Meanwhile, fans of the popular show fumed over the ending of the second episode on Thursday night.

As well as Ms Faith’s murder, the episode saw the first Round Table.

The heat seemed to be on Good Morning Britain presenter Garraway and Youtuber Niko Omilana.

After hearing Ms Garraway and Mr Omilana individually speaking to the cameras about how they’d felt in the moment, the credits rolled.

Viewers fumed at the prospect of having to wait until next Wednesday for the reveal of the first banishment, and many vented their frustrations on social media.
