Holly Willoughby is making her comeback to presenting after a three-year hiatus, with the 45-year-old launching a brand new YouTube channel.

The lifestyle series, which premieres on July 28, will tackle subjects ranging from fashion and beauty to health and practical advice.

Two episodes will drop each week, available not only on YouTube but also across digital streaming platforms and social media.

Holly Willoughby Together represents Ms Willoughby’s first major project since she departed ITV’s This Morning in October 2023, having been a fixture on the programme for 14 years.

The 45-year-old said she needed ‘a bit of a challenge’ as she launched her latest project

Speaking to the Press Association at a launch event for the channel, the presenter opened up about her return to the spotlight after an extended period away from screens.

Ms Willoughby described the experience of getting back in front of the camera as unexpectedly familiar.

“It was weird. It was like stepping into an old pair of slippers that I used to wear. I was like, ‘I remember this’,” she told PA.

She acknowledged having to adjust her approach, noting: “I had to unlearn all the kind of telly stuff and just be a bit more normal, so it was a good first step.

“I could just kind of ease into it a little.”

The key question for her was not whether to return, but when.

“The biggest bit was going, ‘when does it feel right for me?'” she explained.

“I don’t feel any pressure what will be will be.”

Ms Willoughby revealed that her pivot to YouTube was driven by observing shifts in how she and her three children were engaging with media.

“(I was) seeing where the industry is shifting and changing,” she said.

Despite embracing the digital world, she made clear that traditional broadcasting remains close to her heart.

“I love telly. Telly is in my blood. I love it, and hopefully I’ll go back and do other TV shows and things like that when the time feels right,” she said.

The move also satisfied a personal need for a fresh challenge.

“It’s just that there’s opportunity and options, and it just felt like ‘let’s see where this goes’. And I think I needed a bit of a challenge.

“I think I needed something that felt very important,” she explained.

She also noted that the transition from television to online content was “weirdly not as different as you would think”, with her production team blending digital expertise with traditional entertainment experience.

Ms Willoughby’s new venture marks her first major presenting project since leaving This Morning in 2023

ITV THIS MORNING

The channel will offer a varied mix of content, including cooking segments, fashion and beauty features, and guidance on health and wellness.

Ms Willoughby will also sit down for candid, in-depth conversations with guests she describes as “inspiring”, among them chefs, a tech safety campaigner, a florist and a make-up artist.

Her departure from This Morning came in the wake of co-presenter Phillip Schofield’s exit from the programme, after he admitted to an “unwise, but not illegal” relationship with a younger male colleague.

Ms Willoughby went on to present Dancing On Ice until ITV confirmed in March 2025 that the skating show was being “rested” indefinitely.

She also hosted the revived game show You Bet! but was unable to continue for its second series due to scheduling conflicts.
