Helen Flanagan has revealed she would love to return to Coronation Street, before detailing the one key reason why she hasn’t yet.
The actress found fame on the soap as Rosie Webster who she originally played from 2000 to 2012.
Helen returned to the cobbles in 2016 after a four-year break, before leaving again two years later to give birth to her second daughter Delilah. While she is yet to return, she has gone onto star on Celebs Go Dating and I’m A Celebrity All Stars.
Helen has now revealed she would ‘absolutely love’ to go back to the soap but she would like to be ‘asked back’ by ITV and have a ‘good storyline’.
She told The Sun: ‘I would absolutely love to go back to Coronation Street. I live now where I did growing up and I’ve moved around so much, you know, with my ex, football and stuff, so I’m back.

‘But to be able to do Coronation Street, they would have to ask me back. Also if I went back and stuff, I’d want to be in a good storyline and what have you.’
The actress was on the soap for more then two decades after being cast in her role as Rosie Webster at just ten years old.
In 2023, Helen told MailOnline, that she really wanted to return, she said: ‘Yeah, totally. I mean, I’d love to go back to Coronation Street at one point.
‘Like, I really, really, really would. But it’s just timing, you know, everything’s about my kids.’
She added: ‘I really want Rosie to come back a mum. I want to go back and like cause some chaos.’
‘I wanted to like kind of palm Sally off with with her grandchild the whole time and yeah, I want her to come back.’
Helen’s biggest storyline was when she had a controversial affair with teacher John Stape, who was in a relationship with Fiz at the time.
Though Rosie wasn’t one of John’s pupils, he still crossed the line by dating the school girl and it inevitably ended in tears and embarrassment.

Helen shares three children Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three, with ex fiancé Scott Sinclair who she split from in 2022 after thirteen years together, four of which they were engaged
Their secret relationship came to light on Christmas Day in chaotic scenes that left Fiz devastated.
But her dealings with John didn’t end there. The villainous teacher couldn’t bear seeing Rosie move on with her next partner, Saj, and kidnapped her in a jealous rage.
He kept her locked in his gran’s farm house attic but fortunately Fiz ended up finding her and the police were informed.
John was sentenced to two years in prison, but it still didn’t stop him from reuniting with Fiz upon his release.
It comes after Helen looked every inch the doting mother as she posed with her two children at The Paddington Bear Experience at London County Hall on Sunday.
The former soap star, who shares Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three, with ex fiancé Scott Sinclair, looked festive as she enjoyed a family day out.
She picked up her youngest on her hip while she held Delilah close to her side as they dressed in Paddington ear headbands.
For the outing Helen looked festive in a red corduroy ribbed skate dress which she paired with black tights and black Adidas trainers.
To accessorise, she kept it simple with a black chained bag and a simple gold necklace.
The multi-sensory interactive adventure features Christmas decorations across multiple themed rooms inspired by the Paddington stories.
