Watch the “chaotic” footage of armed police storming a multistorey car park after multiple people were assaulted at Heathrow Airport.

Tom Bate, who was returning to the Capital from Dallas, Texas, told GB News of the “eerie” and “chaotic” scenes which unfolded before his eyes.

Lauding the rapid response of the police officers, he told GB News that the force “were very brave, but you could see they were like ‘this isn’t a drill.'”

The video shows armed police swarmed the multi-storey car park where an incident where multiple people were assaulted took place.

After directing the officers to where he thought the suspects were, he heard armed police bellowing: “Get on the f**king ground!”

“They kept us locked down there for over an hour as well. So quite chaotic,” Mr Bate told the People’s Channel.

“[The armed police] came really quickly… They basically swept the whole parking garage, all five floors and guns drawn.”

In a statement, Scotland Yard confirmed a man has now been arrested and enquiries into further suspects were ongoing following a reported “pepper spray” attack.
