His curly locks made him irresistible to millions of teenagers when he first found fame with One Direction.
Now, though, his fans are wondering if Harry Styles might have had some help up top and undergone a hair transplant.
Photos of Styles when he started out in the pop industry aged just 16, after auditioning solo on The X Factor in 2010, show a full head of tumbling tresses.
As he aged, though, Styles-watchers noticed his hairline seemed to be moving in the wrong direction, identifying a significant widow’s peak.
Now at 30, he’s been pictured at fashion events with Anna Wintour and Salma Hayek and – hey presto! – his hairline looks strangely restored.
Dr Zayn Khalid, a cosmetic doctor with a clinic in London’s Mayfair, said: ‘He’s grown his hair out but it looks pretty different to how it used to.
‘In previous pictures, he had quite significant frontotemporal recession. But now it isn’t as bad as it used to be.
‘You can see that his hairline was significantly worse. So if he hasn’t had a transplant, he has had some form of hair-loss medication, because his hairline is significantly better.’

Fans have been fuelling the speculation online, comparing old pictures of the singer with recently snapped ones
Styles’s fans began speculating after the pop hunk had a buzz-cut last November – men often shave their hair off before they undergo a transplant.
One fan said last week: ‘When he buzzed his hair I knew a transplant was coming. Whoever did this is a genius because it’s made a difference, but not so much that we would all notice.’
Another said: ‘I am 99 per cent sure he’s had a transplant – it’s obvious. You cannot tell me he didn’t shave his head for aesthetic purposes. I am supporting the transplant 100 per cent.’
And another fan said: ‘That new transplant is doing wonders for Harry – I’m obsessed.’
If his fans are right, Styles is not the first celebrity to invest in the treatment. Actor James Nesbitt and footballer Wayne Rooney have both had transplants.
Rooney, now 39, tweeted in 2011: ‘Just to confirm I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25, why not? I’m delighted with the result.’
And in 2017, in an interview with Radio Times, Cold Feet star Nesbitt, 59, said that he had undergone several procedures and that they had benefitted his career.
