Norwich City have signed teenage defender Harry Amass on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old has been on loan with City’s Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday since the start of this campaign, playing 21 times for the Owls.

Canaries sporting director Ben Knapper told the Norwich website, external Amass’s quality was clear from his “impressive” stint with Wednesday.

“He has shown he is clearly ready to compete, and excel, at this level,” Knapper said. “He’ll add quality and strengthen the left-back position. He’s fit and ready to go.”

London-born Amass joined Watford at the age of nine and moved to Manchester United in August 2023.

The England youth international made his senior debut in March 2025, coming off the bench in a Premier League fixture away to Leicester City – the first of seven appearances for the Old Trafford club.
