A grooming gangs survivor has called on former Detective Constable with the Greater Manchester Police Maggie Oliver to lead the inquiry, as she called for Jess Phillips to resign.

Speaking to GB News, Jade declared that the investigation will “not go anywhere” in the hands of the Safegaurding Minister.

Expressing her outrage in the delay to the inquiry getting started, Jess told host Andrew Pierce: “It just angers me. I really don’t understand why it’s taken them so long to do anything about it.

“It’s been going on for absolute years, and Jess Phillips, she needs to go. We’re not going to get anywhere with this, with her.”

Fearing that the the scandal will face “further cover-up”, Jade stated: “What we are talking about are the rape gangs in this country. We know, unfortunately, there’s loads of child abusers out there, but that’s not we’re trying to talk about, and so I don’t know why they’re avoiding it.

“And I don’t know why they’re avoiding the ethnicity of them. It’s definitely not a race thing, it’s factual, it’s who we got abused by. I’m worried that everyone that’s on board is trying to cover it up.”

Asked by Andrew who she believes should chair in inquiry, Jade told GB News that either a “foreign judge” or someone like Maggie Oliver should lead the investigation.

Jade said: “It should be a judge from a different country. I don’t think it should be anyone that’s part of this country.

“And if I do trust anyone, I think it should be the Maggie Oliver Foundation. The foundation and the women there have been screaming and shouting.”

Detailing the horror of her own abuse, Jade revealed that she was just 14 when the abuse began, and she is now 32 and awaiting justice.

Jade recounted: “I was 14 when it started, and it started off as fun and games. They build your trust by picking you up in nice cars, buying you alcohol, buying you cigarettes, buying you clothes, giving you money if you wanted it. So when you’re obviously in care with nobody, you thrive for that.

“You’re getting all the attention that you that you’re wanting off of loved ones., and it’s just horrible. They basically pass you to their family, they bring people over from Pakistan and make you sleep with them. I’ve been in the middle of nowhere and needed to get home, and to get home you have to sleep with everyone, otherwise you get beaten up.

“I’ve had, unfortunately, seven men take it in turns on me in a taxi bas, I was that drunk I was throwing up in the toilet. That was going on for about two years, near enough every day. And then I got put on child protection all the time because I was high risk of sexual exploitation, and then the last time I got put on it, 18 days after I got arrested for inciting sexual activity.

“I’ve been to the police loads of times, giving them DNA, I’ve given them statements, I’ve been bullied to drop statements, and then I’ve been arrested for wasting police time.”
