Manchester United have triggered a one-year extension to the contract of England international Grace Clinton.
The 21-year-old midfielder’s deal with the Women’s Super League side will now run until 2026.
Clinton signed for United in 2022, but did not make her competitive debut for the club until this season.
She impressed on loan at Tottenham during the 2023-24 WSL campaign, helping Spurs reach the Women’s FA Cup final and being named PFA Young Player of the Year.
After being linked with a move away from United last summer, Clinton has become a key player for Marc Skinner’s side in 2024-25, twice winning their player of the month award this season.
Clinton scored on her senior England debut against Austria in February last year and has three goals in five matches for the Lionesses, as she aims to be part of Sarina Wiegman’s squad at Euro 2025.
