A member of the GB News live audience hit out at Keir Starmer, describing recent events as “absolutely bonkers.”

Speaking during a discussion on the country’s current state, the viewer urged the Prime Minister to “go out and actually look” at what’s happening across Britain.

The GB News live audience member said: “Absolutely bonkers. That was completely crazy.

“I just think, with someone on stage announcing things and then suddenly a knife-wielding man running around the street it’s just chaotic.

“And with all the other people involved, it’s simple enough to see there’s no truth or justice in any of it. There’s just nothing at all.

“This is getting completely out of control. I think we all believe in standing together and moving forward from here because this is really serious.

“People are in such a state of shock, and then you’ve got flags being flown everywhere, which is clearly a reaction to what’s happening.

“If Keir Starmer can’t see this, maybe he needs to get out and see it for himself.”

The comments came as news emerged that a Muslim man who attacked someone burning a Quran outside the Turkish consulate in London has been spared jail.

Moussa Kadri, 59, saw Hamit Coskun setting alight the text and shouted, “I’m going to kill you” before slashing at him with a knife.

Footage showed Mr Coskun making a reference to “terrorists,” while Mr Kadri swore, called him “an idiot,” and said, “one sec, I’m coming back.”

Mr Kadri later returned holding a knife and slashed at Mr Coskun, the court heard.

He later told police he was protecting his religion.

Southwark Crown Court heard Judge Adam Hiddleston handed Kadri a 20-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.

“There’s no other reason for it,” the GB News viewer added.

“People are putting up the flags because they want to show they won’t stand for what’s going on.”

The comments drew nods of agreement from fellow viewers, reflecting growing frustration among some sections of the public over law and order issues.
