GB News has joined the Samaritan’s Purse Shoebox Appeal, who told the People’s Channel’s of their kind-hearted work this Christmastime.

Director of Operation Christmas Child UK at Samaritan’s Purse Nick Cole told GB News’ Dougie Beattie: “We’ll be sending to about 10 countries in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and West Africa, and we’re going to spread Christmas joy and bring hope and share the love of God with children who wouldn’t otherwise receive a gift.

“These boxes contain some toys, but most are practical items.”

Meanwhile, regional manager, Darrell Nesbitt, has witnessed the excitement of children happy with the gifts that many take for granted.

“We’ve had the privilege of being really around the world with Operation Christmas Child in several countries, and seeing the kids actually receive the shoeboxes, and it’s a magic moment,” he told GB News.
