Four more arrests over Coleraine murder | UK News

Police investigating the death of Wayne Reid in Coleraine have made four more arrests.

The body of the 43-year old victim was found at a house in Society Court in the town on Monday.

Three women, aged 28, 33 and 39 and a man aged 41 were arrested on Friday on suspicion of murder.

A 33-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday remains in custody.

On Friday, police were granted an extra 36 hours to question that suspect.

Mr Reid, is believed to have been a father of one who had ties to Scotland.

Police said he may have been involved in an altercation, sometime between Thursday 8 January and Saturday 10 January, in Society Court or Society Street.

His body was discovered when police officers and the ambulance service were called to the property in Society Court at about 11:30 GMT on Monday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
