A huge fire has erupted at Queens Road Peckham Rail Station in south London.

Video and images of the fierce blaze were shared online as smoke billowed in the capital’s rainy night sky.

Updating travellers on the incident, ThamesLink wrote on X: “Services are currently unable to run through Queens Road Peckham and this station is closed.”

“No trains are unable to go through this station and it may be quicker at this time to use an alternative route to complete your journey.”

GB News has approached Transport for London and the London Fire Brigade for more information.

Queens Road services two lines, the London Overground connecting to Clapham Junction and Dalston Junction, via Surrey Quays.

It also joins Southern Trains, running on the South London Line towards London Bridge, East Croydon, and Beckenham Junction.
