It brings his total number of tattoos to nine, most of which are family names.

Holy Trinity’s manager Jamie Taylor said: “I did say to him that it’s permanent and it can’t wash off.

“Not that I don’t believe we can’t win.

“He is a lovely guy, and was the life and soul of the studio that day.

“I’m very happy we did it. I was unsure at first but he was adamant and to him it was a bit of fun and he would get it done anyway.”

Meanwhile, the tattoo has had mixed reviews on the shop’s social media accounts.

One Instagram user said: “Might possibly be the worst tattoo I’ve ever seen.”

Another added: “That’s gonna be a story if we bottle it, great work nonetheless.”

And another poster wrote: “Mate as an England fan, what are you doing lad.”

Sean said he was “excited” for the match later, which he plans to watch at Manchester’s Depot Mayfield fanzone.

What is his score prediction?

“Three nil,” he said, “and 2-1 on Sunday.”
