Jason Parr will be missed by many, his family say

Tributes have been paid to a man has who was killed when his e-bike hit two pedestrians.

Jason Parr, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene on Rochdale Road in north Manchester on Tuesday night.

The two pedestrians were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

His daughter Samantha said: “We are heartbroken and devastated by the sudden loss of our dad Jason, who was killed in a traffic accident. His absence has left a huge void in our lives, and we are struggling to come to terms with this tragedy.”

She added: “It doesn’t feel real, and the shock and pain is overwhelming. He was one of a kind, known for his humour and could make anyone laugh, he was loved by many.

“My dad meant the world to us and will be sadly missed forever.”

Greater Manchester Police said its serious collision investigation unit was continuing its enquiries.
