Footy fans aren’t shy when it comes to their heroes – and then you have Parramatta tragic Jack Gillogly, who now has a permanent reminder of star five-eighth Dylan Brown on his body.
Gillogly, 24, has followed the Eels since he was born, and his passion for the blue and gold this week reached a new level.
The budding entrepreneur visited a tattoo parlour on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland – and his choice of ink on his thigh was unique to say the least.
‘I got Dylan’s signature at Magic Round this year [in Brisbane] so this has been seven months in the making,’ he told Daily Mail Australia on Saturday.
‘One of my favourite sayings when watching Parra – and Dylan – is ‘go yourself Dylbags’ when he has the ball in hand.
‘So it made sense to get that as a tattoo [on my thigh] once I was able to get his signature…I just had to get it done.’

It also featured the accompanying message: ‘Yes Jack mate.’
Gillogly went onto state he had ‘no choice’ but to follow the Eels as a youngster.
‘My dad had me in some Eels gear about 10 minutes after I was born,’ he said.
‘I was at the 2001 Grand Final against the Knights, but don’t remember it [thankfully].
‘I watched the 2009 and 2022 deciders at home… both were tough games.
‘Next year I think we will go OK…..I will miss Gutho [departed fullback Clint Gutherson] but any team with Dylan and Mitch [Moses] should be competitive.
‘Jason Ryles as our new coach is also exciting…. it could be the start of something great.’
Parramatta start their 2025 NRL campaign with a tough away trip to face the Melbourne Storm on March 9.
