Emmerdale star Twinnie-Lee Moore has revealed her anger at clothing brand Zara, after one of their outfits caused her hands to turn blue on live television.
The country singer, 37, appeared on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch earlier this month, looking fashion forward in a strapless denim top and jeans.
However, the morning show was almost derailed, when host Tim Lovejoy noticed Twinnie’s hands had turned a blue-ish colour and feared she had become unwell.
Opening up on the ordeal on her TikTok, the soap star explained her outfit had been to blame as she revealed her mortification at the blunder appearing on national TV and being noticed by viewers.
She said: ‘I took myself down to Zara, picked out this outfit and I was so excited to go on this show. I thought I looked nice. I thought I’d done a pretty good job as my own stylist!’
She recounted how Tim kept repeatedly coming over to her during the advert breaks to check she was okay and if she was feeling cold.

A clueless Twinnie went on: ‘I was like, yeah, I’m a little bit cold, but I’m all right! Then in the second break, he comes over to me and he’s like “twin, are you sure you’re okay at this point?”‘
Looking down she saw the discolouration on her hands and ‘started panicking’ that she could have Raynaud’s – where blood stops circulating to the extremities.
She added: ‘Everybody’s got their own insecurities. Mine is my hands. Look at these hands, I’ve got man hands! They’re almost the size of my head. I do not need any more attention on these hands.’
But she went on: ‘Then the penny drops – oh my God, it’s the dye off my outfit! And it’s live! So there’s nothing I can do about it really.
‘And all these tweets keep coming being like “is she dying?” The host thought I was dying on national television, he nearly stopped the show because of it!’
Tim made mention of it on the show due to being inundated with concerned messages from viewers, saying: ‘Her hands went blue, and I was looking over at her thinking, “We’ve got to stop the show and get a nurse”.’
There was also a flurry of tweets from fans, who wrote: ‘What is going on with Twinny’s grey hands?’; ‘Why are her hands blue?’
‘Are Twinnie’s hands covered in black or blue dye?!’; ‘Twinnie hands are black from her outfit I’m guessing’; ‘What’s up with her hands’

‘why are Twinnies hands a strange colour?’; ‘Twinnie, why are her hands grey?’; ‘I would be fuming at Zara for this dye coming off so much!’
Twinnie said she was furious with Zara and came up with a clever idea for how the company could make up the embarrassing incident to her.
She said: ‘I’m raging. It’s from Zara, it’s brand new and my hands are blue. It’s getting taken back. But I’m ok. I’m not dying, just so you know!
‘I would like to take two people shopping that can’t necessarily afford to shop at your shop. And I want it to be on you Zara! That way you make it up to me and I feel good about giving back to somebody else.’
It comes after Twinnie joined the cast of Emmerdale in October, to play the ambitious and ruthless boxing promoter Jade.
The country-pop singer gushed she has had ‘so much fun’ on set, after swapping Nashville for the Yorkshire village.

‘I’ve loved being back on screen, especially as the show is shot in Yorkshire, being able to be home with family and go to work on such an iconic show has been nothing short of amazing!
