Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has escaped the “London restraint” as he embarks on a solo trip to the US.

Mr Mapelli Mozzi, 42, spoke on an influential panel of architects, answering questions from the audience about his architectural work and his company’s current projects.

Princess Beatrice’s husband suited up in blush pink and power blue as he engaged with individuals at the event in Palm Beach, Florida.

His company posted footage of their CEO online, writing: “Looks like British designer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is trading grey skies for pastel tones, embracing the Miami palette ahead of his panel talk at Palm Beach Design Week.

“Consider this your first hint that London restraint has officially met coastal colour.”

Footage showed Mr Mapelli Mozzi speaking with fans of his luxury design and development company, Banda, during Palm Beach Design Days.

The event in Florida “brings together the best in design, architecture, and creative innovation”.

Mr Mapelli Mozzi joined 65 other speakers across the three days, speaking on a panel titled: “The art of welcome: hospitality as a design philosophy”.

Beatrice’s husband was joined by the architectural digest global interiors and garden director, Alison Levasseur, Sarah Wetenhall, Sara McCann and Zoe Feldman.

Mr Mapelli Mozzi shared images of the trips, featuring palm trees and a gorgeous sunny beach.

The 42-year-old posted pictures of the exterior of restaurant Le Bilboquet, located in Palm Beach.

The diner uses local ingredients from South Florida and has seen several famous figures pass through its doors, including Brooklyn Beckham.

Mr Mapelli Mozzi posted several other photos earlier in the week, appearing to show him walking through a multi-storey boat storage facility with the on-screen location label reading “Miami Garage”.

A second photograph showed tall palm trees against a clear blue sky.

The property developer shares a son, Christopher Woolf “Wolfie” Mapelli Mozzi, with his former partner Dara Huang, who was born and raised in Florida, and recently took Wolfie to Miami for Christmas in 2025.

She shared an Instagram story showing her son at a mini golf course with a caption referencing a “Florida Christmas”.

Mr Mapelli Mozzi’s Florida trip comes after fresh reporting about a setback linked to one of his business projects in Australia.

Banda was linked to a planned high-end beachfront project in Australia called Masthead Ocean Club, which was promoted as a major development on the Gold Coast.

The Masthead development has since collapsed, with the company behind the scheme going into administration.

Banda had worked on the project, which was described as a £125million development, with the collapse representing a blow to the firm’s involvement.
