Edinburgh Airport has suspended all incoming flights after a British Airways plane was forced to make an emergency landing.
British Airways flight BA1443 to London Heathrow diverted back to Edinburgh shortly after take-off due to a “technical issue”.
The plane, which departed at about 11am, could be seen travelling in circles for around 20 minutes before making its way back to the airport.
A British Airways spokesman said: “The aircraft returned to Edinburgh Airport safely after our pilots identified a technical issue after take-off.
